Date of passing: 3 Mar 2010 About our Alumni:The son of the late Charles W. and Dorothy Pagel Saewert, he died Wednesday evening, March 3, 2010, at Burr Oak Manor in Genoa City, Wis. On March 19, 1949, in Des Plaines, he was united in marriage to Donna M. Altenburg. They lived in Park Ridge, until moving to Powers Lake 35 years ago. Norman served in the National Guard. He was a cabinet maker and owned and operated the Park Ridge Cabinet Shop. He was a member of the Christ Evangelical and Reformed Church in Des Plaines. He was an active member of the Twin Runners Snowmobile Club in Twin Lakes, Wis. Norman is survived by his wife, Donna; two daughters, Susan Marshall of Geneva and Sally (James) Schiavone of Palatine; one son, Timothy (Patricia) Saewert of Park Ridge; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; one brother, George of Park Ridge; and one sister, Shirley Trafton of Grayslake. |
